A Netflix anunciou no dia 18, o lançamento de um novo anime de He-Man, Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Que será comandada pelo cineasta, ator e roteirista de quadrinhos norte-americano, Kevin Smith. O anuncio foi feito pelo Twitter, veja a descrição oficial;
“A guerra por Eternia irá recomeçar! O diretor de Superstars, Kevin Smith, continua a história da série original, exatamente onde parou. Em Masters of the Universe: Revelation, uma nova série que conta a história épica do que pode ser a batalha final de He-Man e Skeletor”.
A série será animada pela Powerhouse Animation, mesmo estúdio por trás de Castlevania.
